Rebecca Cameron Blount

Rebecca Cameron Blount completed her undergraduate education at the University of Virginia in 1993.  She was a member of the White House staff in Washington, D.C. from 1993 to 1998 before earning her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2001.  Upon graduation from law school, Mrs. Blount served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Linda M. McGee on the North Carolina Court of Appeals from 2001-2002.

 In 2002, Mrs. Blount joined The Blount Law Firm, PLLC as an associate attorney where she worked with Marvin K. Blount, Jr., a former Special Superior Court Judge and one of the most respected trial lawyers in North Carolina, until his death in 2006.  At The Blount Law Firm, Mrs. Blount gained experience in many types of civil litigation including serious personal injury cases, consumer fraud cases, and complex class actions.  Mrs. Blount was the point-person at the firm for all appellate cases and briefed and argued cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts of North Carolina for the Eastern and Middle Districts and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In 2006, Mrs. Blount and her husband Marvin K. Blount III formed The Blount Law Firm, P.C. In July 2009, Marvin K. Blount III was appointed as a Special Superior Court Judge for the State of North Carolina.

Mrs. Blount and her husband live in Greenville, North Carolina and have two daughters, Eleanor, 6, and Martha, 4.
