Rebecca Cameron Blount is an associate attorney dedicated to protecting and defending clients’ rights. Given her experience and strong academic record, Ms. Blount is best prepared to advise and help clients in the areas of complex and multi-district litigation, class actions, antitrust, personal injury, and wrongful death.
Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Ms. Blount completed her undergraduate education at the University of Virginia and earned her degree in Law from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 2001. Before entering law school, Ms. Blount was a member of the White House staff from 1994 to 1998.
A talented and dedicated law student, Ms. Blount was recognized by faculty and colleagues for her numerous academic contributions. She is the recipient of three CALI Awards for her work in the law school’s Conflict of Laws and Family Law courses, as well as for her work in the law school’s Clinic for the Elderly. Ms. Blount was the winner of the Edwin M. Stanley Moot Court Competition in 1999 and served as a member of the Moot Court Board. Ms. Blount was also a member of the Editorial Staff of the Wake Forest Law Review.
Prior to joining Blount & Blount, P.C., Ms. Blount served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Linda M. McGee on the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Ms. Blount is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District, Middle District, and Western District of North Carolina. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, and the Pitt County Bar Association.
